At ShoeAura, we believe every shoe has a story. We’re a community for enthusiasts who see footwear as art, culture, and a source of confidence. We are looking for passionate writers to share their unique perspectives on the world of shoes, from iconic sneakers to timeless leather loafers .  

If you have an eye for style, a love for shoe history, or a personal story to tell, we want to hear from you. You don’t need to be a professional journalist, just someone with an authentic point of view.  

What We’re Looking For

We prioritize content that is insightful, inspiring, and tells a story. We are particularly interested in:  

• Deep Dives: The history and cultural impact of an iconic shoe.
• Unique Styling Guides: Go beyond the basics with a strong, clear point of view.
• Personal Essays: A powerful story about a pair of shoes that marked a moment in your life.  
• Expert Takes: Well-argued opinion pieces on industry trends, craftsmanship, or shoe care.

Our Guidelines

To maintain quality and clarity, we ask all contributors to follow these guidelines:

• Originality: Your article must be 100% original, unpublished elsewhere, and substantially written by you (we do not accept AI-generated content).  
• Length: Articles should be between 800 and 1,500 words .
• Tone: Your writing should be engaging, authoritative, and easy to read. Use headings, subheadings, and short paragraphs.  
• Images: Please include 3-5 high-resolution images that you have the legal right to use. Original photography is highly encouraged.  
• Links: You may include one do-follow link in your author bio to your personal blog or social media. No promotional or affiliate links are allowed within the article body .
• Author Bio: Please provide a brief bio (50-75 words) and a headshot.  

How to Submit

We operate on a “pitch-first” basis. Please do not send a completed article.

1. Craft Your Pitch: Send us an email with a brief summary of your article idea, explaining why it’s a great fit for our readers. Please include 1-2 links to samples of your previous writing.  
2. Email Us: Send your pitch to info@shoeaura.com with the subject line: “Guest Pitch:”.  

We review all pitches that follow our guidelines and typically respond within two weeks.  

The Fine Print

We reserve the right to edit all submissions for clarity, grammar, and style. Upon publication, ShoeAura.com retains ownership of the content, and it cannot be republished elsewhere. While we do not offer monetary compensation at this time, we are happy to provide a platform to showcase your work to our dedicated audience, complete with a byline and a valuable backlink.
